In-Depth Studies
AHA’s In-Depth Study Program is designed for individuals seeking to deepen their understanding and practice of Iyengar Yoga.
It provides a holistic approach and encompasses asana and pranayama practice, philosophy study, discussion groups and monthly reading/written reflection assignments.
- 6 – Once Monthly Iyengar Asana Learning Lab (2- Hour Workshops)
- Philosophy study – Reading Assignments, Written exploration, Thoughtful discussion
- Sequences for Home Practice
- 6 – 1 Hour Sessions of Pranayama Class
- OPTIONAL – Zoom call/check in between sessions
For those interested in pursuing Iyengar teacher certification/mentorship this is a first step. Additional assignments and meetings via Zoom and face-to-face.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Enthusiasm and commitment to Iyengar Yoga
- Regular Attendance in weekly class with Kerry
- Minimum 6 months- to 1 year Iyengar yoga with a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT)
- Familiarity with basic standing poses
- Regular practice of inversions (headstand, shoulder stand or their alternatives)
- Have required props if participating in online sessions
