Summer 2008 Classes

Here is our summer schedule for July 1 to August 31, 2008. The studio is comfortably air conditioned. The studio will be closed on Friday, July 4 and Friday, August 22, 2008. Please note that weekend classes will resume in the fall.

Class fees

  • Ten-class pass for $130. (No expiration!)
  • Drop In for $15/class.
  • 24 Class Card for $264 (Expires in 3 months from date of purchase). This pass cannot be shared with friends or family members.
  • Ten-class pass for seniors (age 65+) for $110.
  • Ten-class pass of students (I.D. required) for $110.

Payment by cash, check, or credit card accepted.

Monday Classes

Iyengar Yoga Level II, 11:30 – 1:00 pm

Additional basic poses presented, including headstand, full backbends and the basics of pranayama. Taught by Jill Johnson.

Prenatal Yoga, 4:00 – 5:30 pm

Gentle stretching, strengthening and relaxation for all three trimesters. No yoga experience required. Taught by Jill Johnson.

Anusara-Style Yoga, Level II, 6 – 7:30 pm

A physically challenging, heart-oriented, and fun class suitable for experienced yoga students. Building on the fundamentals of this system, it will include a wide variety of postures from many different categories of asana. Taught by Laurie Greenberg.

Tuesday Classes

Mommy and Me Yoga, 10:15 – 11:00 am

Mothers and Babies up to two years will be guided through yoga postures. Eight classes for $64 or $10 per class. Led by Hanna Cerwall.

Iyengar Yoga Level I, 5:30 – 7:00 pm

How to practice basic yoga poses, and how to link them into home practice sequences. Includes standing poses, simple forward bends and twists, and an introduction to shoulder stand and basic breathing techniques. Taught by Jill Johnson.

Wednesday Classes

Zen Meditation, 7:00 – 8:00 am

Donations only. See Charles’ web site for additional information. Call Charles Meyers at 603-442-9535 for information or beginner instruction.

Iyengar Yoga Level I/II, 8:30 – 10:00 am

A link between Level I and Level II. Students will refine the Level I poses and will begin work on Level II. Taught by Jill Johnson.

Yoga Level II, 6:00 – 7:30 pm

Additional basic poses presented, including headstand, full backbends and the basics of pranayama. Taught by Carole Petrillo.

Thursday Classes

Level 1 Yoga, 4:15 – 5:30 pm

How to practice basic yoga poses, and how to link them into home practice sequences. Includes standing poses, simple forward bends and twists, and an introduction to shoulder stand and basic breathing techniques. Taught by Diana Shannon.

ISHTA Yoga, 6:00 – 7:30 pm

A vinyasa flowing class (linking breath to movement) including proper alignment based on the Iyengar tradition. Classes will include asana, pranayama and meditation. Open to all levels. Taught by Laura Brennan.

Friday Classes

Therapeutic Yoga, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm

Careful instruction by a physical therapist and yoga teacher on alignment and prevention of injuries using introductory poses with support as needed. New mothers with babies are welcome. Taught by Jill Johnson.

Saturday and Sunday Classes

Weekend classes will resume in the fall.
